TENNIS ANDY MURRAY'S misery continued last night when he crashed out in the first round of the World Tennis Tournament in Rotterdam. The world No 5, who suffered Australian Open final heartbreak at the hands of Novak Djokovic last month, lost 6-4 6-1 to Cypriot Marcos Baghdatis. Murray struggled on the fast court surface against the world No 20 and later revealed he also suffered problems with his left wrist during the match. The British No 1 said: "I was struggling with my wrist but it wasn't terrible. "A lot of the players have had problems with their wrists this week. "Maybe it's the change of surface and balls - but I don't think it's anything serious." Murray will be back in action with brother Jamie in today's doubles when they face Julien Benneteau and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga. |
